First Sighting: Tackle, Touring, Urban and Express

The quartet of vision vehicles gives a curt nod to varied lifestyles. Vision.T brings the unmistakable silhouette of the new-age Thar, but with battery packs under the floor and a completely reworked inner structure for those who want off-road relaxations without using fossil burn. Vision.S, with sharper cuts and a flashy grille, seeks the adventure touring clan who follow trails but demand a few smartphone comforts. Vision.SXT slides a little smaller and sportier, perfect for tight mountain roads or inner-city rush hours. Finally, Vision.X flashes a presumptuous rooftop spoiler and large wheels, ready to court the crowd that races across green lights in complete electric silence.

The Vision.T surfaces as a nearly ready-for-showroom iteration of the Thar.e concept first revealed last year. It retains the purposeful look that aficionados prize: upright silhouette, sharply defined wheel arches, and generous all-terrain tires. Rumours point to a dual-motor layout delivering all-wheel-drive supremacy—the silent successor to the beloved Mahindra Thar. Production iterations might roll into dealerships by 2026.

Then we have the Vision.S, an early preview of the next Scorpio. Its bold front, imposing altitude, and broad grille declare intent. True to the Scorpio heritage, the model will ride the new Freedom NU platform, accommodating both battery and hybrid powertrains. A complete production version is likewise in the cards for 2026.

Fulfilling the demand for no-nonsense utility, the Vision.SXT raises the stakes. Its silhouette is stripped to essentials: a clamshell hood, reinforced bumpers, and openly visible hinges. Depending on final engineering, this workhorse could adopt either the Thar or Scorpio chassis, offering a stout pickup elevated for the roughest jobs and the roughest country’s roads.

Joining the family is the Vision.X, whose thoughtfully honed silhouette is crafted for the busy urban household. Its compact stature, notably leaner than its cousins, hints at the first all-electric compact SUV destined to wear the XUV badge.
